When you think of Shady Blue think Alicia Myers, Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, Regina Belle, Maxwell, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Yolanda Adams  & Shirley Caesar fused with some Soul, R&B, Jazz, Funk & Afro-Beat – Definition of Shady Blue (the Queen of Afrocentric Soulful Jazz).

Singer-songwriter, Inspirational writer/speaker & Entrepreneur Miss Sade Aboderin aka Shady Blue is one of the hottest talents to emerge from London, UK music scene. Her unique vocal style blends the best of Soul/R&B/Jazz and Afro sound (her native African sound) forming music that will truly inspire a generation – Afrocentric Soulful Jazz.

She teams up with various producers and songwriters to create a new unique sound – Afro-centric Soulful Jazz.

How it started…

Shady Blue was born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa to a Nigerian – Yoruba father and bi-racial mother (half Ghanaian and half English) and moved to London as a teenager. During her early years, she was influenced by her father’s music – a renowned Jazz musician/producer in Nigeria & Atlanta. At the tender age of six (6), Shady started singing at her local church, when 8, became lead singer of the church choir.

She delivered exceptional three part-harmonies and captured audiences with her soothing voice and wide vocal range (Alto, soprano, and tenor).

Her Music.

Shady Blue is not only a talented vocalist but also writes; co-produces and arranges her music with instrumentation alongside producers.
With her sultry looks, unique style, infectious charm, and dedication, she is destined to become one of the biggest stars emerging from the music scene.

This talented lady has always been very passionate about music from a very tender age.
Her family home was a place of music and has always had a desire to become a great singer and musician.

Shady Blue is a successful singer-songwriter, with several TV appearances and chart success with released singles and Album. Her passion has always been Music Beauty, Hair & Fashion; she has had exposure within the fashion and hair industry as a model while studying. Her portfolio includes photography and advert jobs for various companies. Her dream is to set up a dedicated and unique beauty, hair and fashion label for women that promote a natural and healthy lifestyle.
